Scott Alan Giambalvo

Prior to Marvel Wheelchairs, Giambalvo was the Executive Vice President for Richardson, TX based start-up OraMetrix. There he developed an integrated team to provide Orthodontists with computer-aided design for custom manufactured braces. His efforts to create operational excellence led to a six fold increase in revenues in just two years.

Previously, Giambalvo honed his leadership skills for fourteen years at Stryker Corporation. One of his earlier projects involved developing the RuggedTM Ambulance Stretcher concept into a profitable division.

Scott earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Cornell University (Double Majors in Economics and Chemistry) and a Master of Science in Industrial Administration (MBA) from Carnegie Mellon University. He has also successfully completed an Advanced Leadership Academy at Harvard Business School.

In his spare time, he participates on the Advisory Board for the North Texas Enterprise Center for Medical Technology, a non-profit organization tasked with growing new medical technology ventures) He resides in Plano, TX with his wife of seventeen years and their two daughters.
